Intel to Host Lustre Vision Update at SC15

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

lustreIntel will host a Lustre Vision Update in Austin at SC15. The event takes place Monday, Nov 16 10:30 – 12:00 at the Omni Hotel.

Intel is strongly committed to the success of Lustre, the most scalable high performance parallel file system. Lustre is a key component of the Scalable System Framework which offers performance, scalability and balance for both compute and data-intensive applications – smoothing the path to Exascale and the HPC/Big Data convergence. Our vision for the future is very exciting! Join Intel’s High Performance Data Division team as we talk about where we have been and the future: where we are going, together.

Speakers include:

  • Brent Gorda will describe Intel’s Scalable System Framework and how Lustre is at the heart of it.
  • Gabriele Paciucci will discuss the HPC/Big Data convergence and Malcolm Cowe will give an overview of the Intel Lustre roadmap and how we are focusing our resources to deliver new Lustre capabilities.
  • Eric Barton, Chief Lustre Architect, as he discusses the future of file systems, and how the leap to Exascale will shape our efforts.

This is an exclusive event hosted by Intel and we invite our Intel HPDD Partners and OEMs and their customers to join us for a 90 minute Lustre Vision Update. Stay around afterwards for one-on-one time with the Intel Lustre team.
