The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, Implement, Deploy and support of Linux Infrastructure activities with specific emphasis on design and Implementation of new systems and its integration to the Infrastructure in place on our Corporate Data Centers, remote office locations, and AWS Cloud. The IT Specialist II – Systems, will have the ability to research, administer, install, configure, and troubleshooting of applications on RHEL, CentOS, EC2. Will also required hands on working knowledge of IBM & Cisco Servers/Hardware, Networking knowledge and also proficient with the vSphere virtualization & administration. The candidate should have the ability to work individually or as part of a team, on research, architecture, design and deployment of qualify hardware and software infrastructure solutions base, on business requirements & best practices in Research and Development in the Pharmaceutical industry.
