Today One Stop Systems showcased its High Density Compute Accelerator (HDCA) with AMD FirePro S9170 GPUs at SC15. The HDCA, with sixteen AMD FirePro S9170 GPUs, provides up to 84 Tflops of peak single precision and 512GB of GPU memory. The HDCA is a complete appliance, cabled from one to four host servers through PCIe x16 Gen3 connections and perfect for adding compute power to any HPC application.
We’re pleased to enable One Stop Systems with the AMD FirePro S9170 to support high performance compute, “ said Sean Burke, corporate vice president and general manager, AMD Radeon Technology Group. “With this new offering boasting 32GB of memory, customers can accelerate a variety of workloads such as scientific computing, data analytics, or seismic processing. One Stop Systems now offers an industry unique solution with AMD FirePro S9170 featuring unmatched onboard memory to support large dataset computations.”
The AMD FirePro S9170 is equipped with ultra-fast, industry-leading 32GB of GDDR5 memory, the most memory of any professional server GPU available. Packing up to 2.62 TFLOPS of peak double precision and double precision efficiency of 9.53 GFLOPS/Watt performance, supercomputers that are equipped with AMD FirePro S9170 GPUs can achieve massive compute performance while optimizing available power budgets.
“Since the release of the HDCA, One Stop Systems has worked to qualify the appliance with a wide variety of servers and GPUs to ensure we’re at the cutting edge of HPC technology,” said Steve Cooper, CEO of One Stop Systems. “By testing our appliance with multiple GPUs, such as the AMD FirePro S9170, we are able ensure our appliances meet our customers’ HPC computing needs. Leveraging the compute power and GPU memory of the AMD FirePro S9170 GPU, the HDCA is the dream of any HPC data center manager.”
One Stop Systems’ HDCA with AMD FirePro S9170 GPUs is available immediately.
