CoolIT Systems was also a finalist for the Manufacturing and Consumer Products categories and was a winner of the Advanced Technology & Innovation 2015 award. This award celebrates companies that have successfully harnessed the powers of intellectual property and demonstrated significant year-to-year percentage sales growth over the past year.

The Alberta Export Award applicants, finalists and winners exemplify the values and benefits of exporting,” said David McHattie, Chairman of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters of Canada. “It is essential that we learn from these companies experiences, and celebrate their successes.”

Selection criteria was based on the demonstration of a year-to-year percentage growth in the value of export sales, ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in a new international market, use of innovation and strategies to promote brand awareness in the market and growth in business as a result of entering an international marketplace.
