albertaToday CoolIT Systems announced that the company has been named 2015 Exporter of the Year by the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and JuneWarren-Nickle’s Energy Group (JWE) in Calgary.

CoolIT Systems is honored to be named the top exporter in Alberta. The recipient of the Exporter of the Year Award is selected from the winning firms in all other categories. It recognizes ‘the best of the best in Alberta’s export sector; a company that has excelled in export achievement and has significantly contributed to the provincial economy through growth in their community, new investment and job creation.’

CoolIT Systems was also a finalist for the Manufacturing and Consumer Products categories and was a winner of the Advanced Technology & Innovation 2015 award. This award celebrates companies that have successfully harnessed the powers of intellectual property and demonstrated significant year-to-year percentage sales growth over the past year.

The Alberta Export Award applicants, finalists and winners exemplify the values and benefits of exporting,” said David McHattie, Chairman of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters of Canada. “It is essential that we learn from these companies experiences, and celebrate their successes.”

Selection criteria was based on the demonstration of a year-to-year percentage growth in the value of export sales, ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in a new international market, use of innovation and strategies to promote brand awareness in the market and growth in business as a result of entering an international marketplace.
