As a benchmarking specialist in High Performance Solutions Engineering team, you will be working on designing and developing Dell’s next generation HPC solutions. Primary responsibilities include conducting performance studies, defining and documenting best practices, evaluating new technologies and briefing customers on Dell’s solutions. You will be working in Dell’s state of the art HPC innovation lab equipped with a vast array of computing, networking, storage and visualization technologies to conduct tests, proof of concepts and experiments. Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Primary responsibilities include conducting performance studies, defining and documenting best practices, evaluating new technologies and briefing customers on Dell’s solutions. You will be working in Dell’s state of the art HPC innovation lab equipped with a vast array of computing, networking, storage and visualization technologies to conduct tests, proof of concepts and experiments.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prototype and evaluate new technologies. Make recommendations to the business for incorporation of these technologies into upcoming products
  • Baseline components, benchmark HPC systems
  • Optimize HPC applications on Dell’s HPC system architecture
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires in-depth technical understanding of a broad range of fields including but not limited to Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, Systems Management, Distributed Computing, etc.
  • Maintain relationships with partners’ engineering teams and internal design teams
  • Develop value-added utilities for Dell products
  • Document results in technical reports, white papers, and external blogs. Publish technical conference papers and file patents where applicable
  • Present at conferences and brief customers on Dell’s HPC solutions
  • Work with the sales teams on RFPs/RFIs that require complex benchmarks
