Cray Appoints Fred Kohout as Chief Marketing Officer

Today Cray announced the appointment of Fred Kohout to the position of chief marketing officer. Kohout will be responsible for leading Cray’s marketing efforts globally, and will oversee the development and execution of the Company’s strategic marketing programs, business development initiatives and partnerships.

With more than 25 years of marketing experience, Kohout has held executive-level marketing positions at Fortune 500 companies including EMC and Sun Microsystems, Inc. In his most recent position as vice president at EMC, Kohout was responsible for redesigning and implementing new business partner programs driving more than $6 billion in revenue.
