allineaToday Allinea Software announces availability of its new software release, version 6.1, which offers full support for programming parallel code on the Pascal GPU architecture, CUDA 8 from Nvidia.

The addition of Allinea tools into the mix is an exciting one, enabling teams to accurately measure GPU utilization, employ smart optimization techniques and quickly develop new CUDA 8 code that is bug and bottleneck free,” said Mark O’Connor, VP of Product Management at Allinea.

Customers can now take advantage of the latest developments in GPU technology to advance their work, whether through traditional areas of digital research such as simulations or for newer applications such as deep learning. GPU and hybrid CPU/GPU systems can be a critical element in accelerating performance.

“With CUDA 8.0, NVIDIA developers can now leverage the new Pascal GPU architecture right out of the box” said Duncan Poole, Director of Platform Alliances at NVIDIA. “Developers desiring to scale their code to multiple nodes with many Pascal GPUs using CUDA 8, can now take full advantage of Allinea’s products to identify bugs and performance issues in their applications.”
