Call for Abstracts: FLOW-3D Americas Users Conference

The 2017 FLOW-3D Americas Users Conference has issued its Call for Abstracts. The event takes place Sept. 20-21 in Santa Fe, NM. “The call for abstracts for is now open. Share your experiences, present your success stories and obtain valuable feedback from your fellow CFD practitioners and Flow Science staff. The deadline to submit an abstract is Friday, August 4. The conference proceedings will be made available to attendees as well as through the Flow Science website.”

Call for Abstracts: FLOW-3D User Conference in Barcelona

The 17th annual FLOW-3D European Users Conference has announced its Call for Abstracts. The event takes place June 5-7, 2017 in Barcelona and will be co-hosted by Simulaciones y Proyectos, the official distributor of FLOW-3D products in Spain and Portugal. “Users are invited to share their experiences, present their success stories and obtain valuable feedback from their fellow users and Flow Science technical staff. Please email your abstract to info@flow3d.com.”

FLOW-3D User Conference Coming to Chicago

Today Flow Science announced that it will hold its 2016 FLOW-3D Americas Users Conference in Chicago, IL on September 22 at the Warwick Allerton. Anyone interested in the FLOW-3D product suite are invited to attend the conference.

Flow Science Expands to Latin America

Today Flow Science announced that it has formed a new subsidiary, Flow Science Latin America SAS (FSLA), to sell and support Flow Science’s suite of computational fluid dynamics software products throughout Central and South America.

FLOW-3D Release Scales CFD up to 512 Cores

Flow Science has just released FLOW-3D/MP v6.1, the high-performance computing version of its flagship CFD software, FLOW-3D. Enhancements include active simulation control, batch post processing and report generation. “Our 5-6 day simulations became 15-18 hour simulations using FLOW-3D/MP running on our cluster with Infiniband interconnect,” said Dr. Justin Crapps of Los Alamos National Labs. “Decreased simulation time allows us to investigate more design options and additional physics/phenomenological complexity.”

Flow Science Adds Active Simulation Control to FLOW-3D Cast

This week Flow Science released a new version of FLOW-3D Cast, its software specially-designed for metal casters. FLOW-3D Cast v4.1 offers powerful advances in modeling capabilities, accuracy and performance.
