Sun's Blackbox: first customer delivery

via HPCwire

This week the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center posted an entry on their web site about the forthcoming installation of their Blackbox (interesting note, they’ve had theirs painted white for energy efficiency).

SLAC’s Blackbox has 252 nodes in a 20-foot long, 24,000-pound shipping container. According to the web site, SLAC is the first customer to get one.

Their web page has a pointer to installation vids.
