Pacific Gas and Electric announced earlier this week that they’ve joined The Green Grid. PC&E is the first utility to take the plunge.
Growing GG’s membership beyond vendors to include the whole IT ecosystem is an important step to developing technologies that matter and ultimately stand a chance of adoption. Utilities and the end user community (represented currently by members like British Telecom) in particular are important areas for membership growth.
