NERSC announces acceptance of 100TFLOPS Cray supercomputer

The 20,000 core Cray XT4 supercomputer known as ‘Franklin’ has been formally accepted by NERSC. The key question for XT installations appears to be ‘what colour doors on the racks?’ – in this case blue with yellow stripes. The press release from NERSC can be found here.
