Dell logoThe Purdue University Boilermakers celebrated another championship yesterday with the installation of a new high-performance computing cluster (HPCC) from Dell that is the largest on campus at any school in the Big 10 Conference outside of national computing centers.

…The Purdue supercomputer consists of 812 Dell PowerEdge 1950 dual quad-core computer nodes and is predicted to have a peak performance of more than 60 teraflops…
