ScaleMP Announces Aggregation SW for HP Blades

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

ScaleMP has announced support of its vSMP Foundation Standalone software on HP ProLiant blades.  vSMP Foundation Standalone will allow customers to build virtual SMP systems with up to 32 sockets [128 cores] and 1TB of memory.

I am excited to announce the interoperability of our aggregation software on HP BladeSystem server platforms, said Shai Fultheim, founder and CEO of ScaleMP. Our customers can now benefit from increased performance by virtually aggregating all of the CPUs, memory and I/O resources across multiple server systems. Also, by simplifying system management, our solution eliminates the need to learn how to manage complex clusters or hire additional IT staff.

Neat!  The system is currently based on HP’s BladeSystem c3000 and c7000.  For more info, read the full release here.
