ScaleMP wins "Best in Aggregation" award

High end virtualization company ScaleMP announced yesterday that their flagship product, vSMP Foundation, has been recognized with a Reader Trust Award by Network Products Guide, an industry publication on information technologies and solutions.

ScaleMP was also in the news yesterday after posting the best x86 performance on the SPEC CPU2006 benchmark. vSMP Foundation aggregates off-the-shelf x86 servers into a single virtual machine aimed at HPC. Up to 16 servers (128 cores) can be aggregated, creating a virtual shared memory machine with up to 4 TB of memory.
