Intel commits $200M to math, science education

A quickie from Intel today

Intel logoIn support of President Obama’s U.S. Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Initiative, Intel committed more than $200 million over the next 10 years to train teachers in math, science and technology education. As part of its STEM investment, led by Former Intel Chairman Craig Barrett, Intel will help prepare all students to take Algebra I by 8th grade and give more students hands-on math, science opportunities, through Intel Math, Intel Teach and Intel’s science fair programs.
