Fusion-IO Changes CEO

Fusion-IO officially has a new CEO, again.  The incumbent CEO, David Bradford, will become chairman of the board after only thirteen months as CEO.  According to Bradford’s profile on the Fusion-IO website, he helped convince Steve Wozniak to join the company as Chief Scientist.  The Register has indicated that David Flynn, president/CTO and co-founder will become the new CEO.

Rick White [CMO] said: “[David Flynn] was moved into the office of CTO six months ago and took over the day-to-day running of the company. David Flynn was recommended by Bradford to become the CEO. The board went through a formal interview process and interviewed David Flynn and other [external] candidates and went for Flynn.”

Bradford’s tenure as CEO sparked some great business for Fusion-IO.  According to the source article, during his tenure, Bradford helped to get to Samsung grab a stake in the company and the push the involvement of Netscape founder Marc Andreessen.
