Lustre Community to Gather at SC10 OpenSFS Meeting

The openSFS organization will hold their first annual meeting on Tuesday, November 16 in New Orleans in conjunction with the SC10 Conference. At this open session, OpenSFS members and prospective members are invited to learn more about the organization’s goals and discuss the latest developments on the Lustre open source parallel file system.

The OpenSFS consortium has been designed from the ground up to provide a positive long-term benefit to Lustre users through the coordinated requirements gathering and investment from the worldwide user community,” said Norm Morse, CEO of OpenSFS. “The organization has been designed to very openly engage users of all sizes. With membership fees as low as $5,000 annually — stakeholders are provided a forum to influence the future of open-source file system technology while working within budgetary constraints.”
