T-Platforms Group and Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) announced a memo of understanding to collaborate on the development of next generation supercomputer technology focusing on exascale levels of computation. The agreement paves way to developing original exascale technology in Russia and establishes a long-standing technological collaboration. T-Platforms Group is a leading provider of HPC systems, software, services and solutions. MSU has experience in the development of parallel algorithms, programming tools, and application software and in the testing and fine-tuning cutting edge hardware technology.
As reported here, T-Platforms will be at the University of Heidelberg Booth #1259 at SC10. The University of Heidelberg is the developer of the EXTOLL (Extreme Low Latency Interconnect) interconnect technology.
