A System View of Productive Exascale Systems

In this video from the 2014 HPCAC Stanford HPC & Exascale Conference, Barry Bolding from Cray presents: Compute, Store and Analyze: A System View of Productive Exascale Systems.

Productive Exascale is not simply about achieving a set of technologies and performance metrics, it is about providing systems that fit into the production scientific workflow environments that will exist at the end of this decade. While individual technology advances are critical, they are not sufficient. Cray will present an extrapolation of our system view of productive scalable supercomputing and how productive exascale could be achieved with combinations of computing, storage, and analytics.”
