NextComputing Rolls Out Radius EDS Portable Workstation

radius-eds-quarter-right-webToday NextComputing announced their new Radius EDS portable workstation. With a small form factor and an innovative storage configuration, the Radius EDS provides up to 16 easy-access removable hard drives equaling 32TB of enterprise-class storage with RAID.

Driven by single or dual Intel Haswell E5 v3 CPUs (totaling up to 32 cores), or Intel Core i7, this powerful little machine is ideal for high-performance appliance, product, and service solutions.

The Radius EDS is modular and scalable, with up to 7 full-length PCI Express 3.0 slots so you can extend your capabilities with high-performance I-O, graphics, co-processing, and RAID controller cards.
