The Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland is seeking a Principal HPC Architect in our Job of the Week.
Candidate will performs studies and develops new HPC technology architecture recommendations for the DSRC enterprise in support of DoD research programs; Develops and provides expert guidance and strategy for HPC systems and architectures and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy; Advises on HPC technology directions and investments; Sets standards for advanced technology implementation, expected performance improvement, and operational impacts; Supports system integration projects and helps tune systems for maximum performance; Assists with the resolution of the most difficult system problems; Advises management on feasibility of potential future HPC projects.
