Dr. Jürgen Kohler from Daimler AG to Keynote ISC High Performance in July

Today the ISC High Performance Conference announced that Dr. Jürgen Kohler from Daimler AG will give the opening keynote on July 12. Formerly known as the International Supercomputing Conference, the ISC High Performance Conference takes place July 12-16 in Frankfurt, Germany.

World-renowned for automotive quality and safety, Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz cars are also highly innovative. To share the inside story, Dr. Jürgen Kohler, the head of NVH CAE and Vehicle Concepts at Daimler AG, will talk about “High-Performance Computing – Highly Efficient Development – Mercedes-Benz Cars” at the opening keynote at this year’s ISC High Performance conference. In his Monday address on July 13, Dr. Kohler, who is also the Chair of the PRACE Industrial Advisory Committee, will introduce the integration of digital prototyping at the business unit, Mercedes-Benz Cars Development.

Additional 2015 keynote speakers include:

• Professor Yutong Lu of NUDT China. On Tuesday, July 14, Professor Lu will be giving her debut keynote on applications leveraging supercomputing systems.
• Professor Thomas Sterling, a perennial favorite at ISC, will once again offer an entertaining summary of the past year in his keynote on Wednesday, July 15.

Registration for the ISC High Performance conference will open on April 1, 2015.
