Louisiana State University is seeking an HPC User Services Analyst in our Job of the Week.
This position is for an IT Analyst 3 in High Performance Computing User Services group in the Information Technology Services Department at LSU. The HPC IT Analyst 3 is responsible for enabling both existing and emerging high performance computing solutions, and to advance research computing initiatives through direct technical support and training of the research communities of LSU and its collaborators. Responsible for installation and maintenance of cluster software resources including, but not limited to, various commercial and open source scientific codes, libraries, or applications. Analyst will perform benchmarks for both cluster hardware and software performance and provide leadership and outreach in facilitating awareness and use of partner programs such as LONI, NSF’s XSEDE, DOE’s INCITE, and Open Science Grid Consortium.
