Today Bright Computing announced it will be releasing Version 7.1 of Bright Cluster Manager for HPC at the ISC 2015 conference. The event takes place July 12-16 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new version will include enhancements to configuration management, extended BIOS support, and fully integrated Lustre support.
The enhancements made in Version 7.1 of Bright Cluster Manager for HPC further reduce the complexity of on-premise HPC,” said Dr. Matthijs van Leeuwen, founder and CEO of Bright Computing. “These Bright-managed HPC environments can be easily extended into the cloud to take full advantage of dynamic resources and virtualized infrastructure.”
The Version 7.1 release of Bright Cluster Manager for HPC also includes enhancements in the integrated support for various workload managers. From fine-grained control for custom kernels to refactored internals optimized for resiliency and scalability, Bright 7.1 establishes a new standard for the management of HPC environments.
Bright also recently unveiled enhancements and updates to Bright Cluster Manager for Apache Hadoop and Bright OpenStack.
