Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supercomputing Systems Administrator in our Job of the Week.
This Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position performs as a Systems Administrator supporting Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Information Technology. The position is a High Performance Computing/Super Computing Systems Administrator who will be required to maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with Network Services, Storage Administrators, Security, Vendors, and Research Scientists. The administrator will also be responsible for maintaining the ongoing operational functionality and security posture of the high-performance clusters. This position will be located in Marietta, GA. They will ensure that all Lockheed Martin assets and software are properly accounted for, managed, and controlled. All work must be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours, weekends and occasional travel. The position also supports a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule. This professional utilizes troubleshooting skills to provide users timely and effective solutions to problems. They develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
