Flow Science Partners with FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS for Optimizing Simulation

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

caesesToday Flow Science announced a partnership with Germany’s FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS. As the developers of CAESES, FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS targets simulation engineers and those interested in intelligent surface design for automated design explorations and shape optimization (so-called simulation-ready CAD).

“The integration of FLOW-3D with CAESES creates a powerful design environment for our users. FLOW-3D’s inherent ease of modifying geometry is even more potent when combined with an optimization tool like CAESES, which specializes in optimizing for geometry as well as other parametric studies,” said Flow Science Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Amir Isfahani.

Optimization is an integral part of any design process that incorporates simulation. Flow Science and FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS have partnered to offer FLOW-3D users a push-button solution that allows for automated optimization, including optimizing for geometry using the powerful CAD kernel that is native to CAESES. This solution enables FLOW-3D users to perform parametric studies and design of experiments (DoE).

“With the excellent functionality and robustness of FLOW-3D, it is easy to set up optimization projects. FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS is very pleased to work with Flow Science in the field of simulation-driven design,” said Stefan Harries, Co-Founder of FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS.
