studentsThe DOD High Performance Computing Program and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) hosted the Supercomputing Summer Institute July 18-29, 2016, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The program introduced students to high-tech learning opportunities.

“In this two-week academic program, students are introduced to supercomputing and novel architectures; applications and tools; basic principles of engineering algorithms, programming languages and techniques and scientific visualization technologies. Provided with hands on programming experiences working with innovative technologies, students work in teams on projects and provide an oral presentation at the end of the program. Certified teachers provide guidance while ARL computational scientists provide technical expertise.”
