The OpenFabrics Alliance Workshop 2017 has issued their Call for Sessions. The event will take place March 27-31, 2017 in Austin, Texas.
An ongoing collaboration between OpenFabrics Software (OFS) producers and users is necessary to address difficult network challenges. The 13th Annual OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) Workshop is a key industry event encouraging a dialogue that is geared toward strengthening high-performance networks end-to-end and represents a joint effort among open source networking community members.
The Workshop is driven by the needs and interests of the attendees and, as a result, the audience profiles continue to expand. Attending software developers and distributors are now joined by a growing number of OFS consumers including:
- Application end users
- Enterprise data center managers
- Network technology researchers
- Networking middleware developers
- Operating system vendors
- Storage vendors
- System & network administrators
- System OEMs, architects & integrators
Submissions should include the following:
- A topical abstract defining the subject and its networking relevance (max. 200 words)
- Target audience profile
- Brief speaker biography
- Proposed session format
Suggested session topics, formats, and detailed submission instructions can be found in the Call for Sessions flyer (now available for download).
Proposals must be received by February 3, 2017.
