Today One Stop Systems announced that Raytheon has recognized One Stop Systems with a Premier Supplier Excellence Award for their outstanding innovation, technical achievement and customer support.

We’re very honored to receive this award from Raytheon,” said Steve Cooper, CEO of OSS. “We believe the relationship and working well together is a very important piece of the successes we’ve had, particularly as technology advances. We’re very excited about this new product and we want to thank Raytheon for their support and trusting us to build the Data Storage Unit to meet all of Raytheon’s and the Navy’s requirements.”

As part of the Raytheon Supplier Excellence Program, suppliers are awarded for their outstanding performance, contributions, and support for Raytheon’s programs. One Stop Systems has worked closely with Raytheon in development of a new, light-weight, high-density Data Storage Unit to replace outdated and heavy, low-density hard drive systems. The previous technology had RAID packs that weighed about 120lbs for 25TB. The new Data Storage Unit designed and manufactured by One Stop Systems holds high-density 256 TB with a four NVMe pack system with a weight of 6.5 lbs. each.

Upon presenting the award to One Stop Systems, the Program Chief Engineer at Raytheon thanked OSS employees for the hard work in designing and building the Data Storage Unit. He expressed the excitement of both Raytheon and their Navy customers for this new technology.
