SC17 Exhibition Setting Records

Bronis R. de Supinski from LLNL is the Exhibits Chair for SC17

Even though SC17 is still more than two months away, this year’s Exhibition is already setting records.

We are excited to report that we have already smashed the record for both net square feet of exhibit space sold as well as the total number of exhibitors,” says Bronis R. de Supinski, SC17 Exhibits Chair from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. “Whether industry or research – if you have anything to do with high performance computing, you need to have a presence at SC17. The SC exhibition floor is an exciting place to discover the latest innovations and make positive career-impacting connections.”

According to de Supinski, SC17 already will feature at least 334 exhibitors that will occupy 147,300 net square feet of exhibit space. As a comparison, the final data from the previous year featured 320 exhibitors utilizing 140,400 net square feet.

In addition, the exhibit floor will have a truly international feel with at least 117 countries represented. Also, a new feature this year will be several attendee lounges that will allow people to take a break, recharge electrical devices, prioritize the rest of their day, or just network with colleagues. Overall, we expect more – and deeper – technical activity on the exhibition floor than ever before.

Despite record-breaking size already in the books for SC17, opportunities still exist to have a presence on the exhibit floor. For further details, contact exhibits@info.supercomputing.org.

Registration is now open for SC17, which takes place Nov. 12-17 in Denver.
