Today CoolIT Systems unveiled their new AHx10 Heat Exchange Module. This latest member of the CoolIT lineup is a rack mounted Liquid-to- Air heat exchanger that enables dramatic increases in server density without the need for any facility water.

Data centers struggling to manage the heat from high density racks now have a solution with the AHx10 that requires no facility modification,” said CoolIT Systems VP of Product Marketing, Pat McGinn. “The plug and play characteristics of the AHx10 make it a high flexible, simple to install solution that delivers the great benefits of liquid cooling immediately.”

The AHx10 strengthens CoolIT Systems’ extensive range of Rack DCLC heat exchange solutions featuring centralized pumping architecture. Customers can now easily deploy high density liquid cooled servers inside their existing data centers without the requirement for facility liquid being brought to the rack. The AHx10 mounts directly in a standard rack, supporting a cold aisle to hot aisle configuration. The standard 5U system manages 7kW at 25°C ambient air temperature and can be expanded to 6U or 7U configurations (via the available expansion kit), scaling capacity up to 10kW of heat load. CoolIT will officially launch the AHx10 at SC17 booth #1601 in Denver.

The AHx10 supports front to back air flow management and is compatible with CoolIT Manifold Modules and Server Modules. It boasts redundant pumping as well as integrated monitoring and control system with remote access. The AHx10 is the perfect solution to manage cooling for HPC racks within an existing data center. SC17 attendees can learn more about the solution by visiting CoolIT at booth #1601.
