Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Startups have always had a tough time in the HPC space. Now, the SC18 conference is offering to lend a helping hand with a startup showcase they’re calling the SC18 Coffee Shop.

Starting a new business is no easy feat and this is our effort to help smaller companies get exposure to our diverse and dynamic audience,” said SC18 Exhibits Chair Christy Adkinson, from Cray Inc. “We see this as a win-win for emerging companies and our attendees.”

New this year, the SC18 Coffee Shop is a unique opportunity for small, emerging companies to introduce their new products, tools, and services to the growing high performance computing community.

SC attendees represent decision makers and influencers on HPC, networking, storage, and analytics acquisitions. This includes representatives from the U.S. national laboratories who are always seeking technology on the cutting edge.

A Coffee Shop space includes:

  • 6’ x 2’ draped counter
  • 2 Limerick stools
  • 22” x 28” sign with company logo
  • 500 watt electrical drop
  • Wireless for demonstration purposes
  • Your organization on the interactive floor plan and exhibitor list
  • 4 exhibitor badges
  • 15 guest badges

Space is limited in the Coffee Shop. Interested organizations are required to submit a special application to be considered. If your company is selected for this year’s Coffee Shop, it will not be eligible in future years.
