Corvid Technologies in North Carolina is seeking an HPC System Administrator in our Job of the Week.
Corvid Technologies seeks qualified candidates for a full-time HPC System Administrator that will support a high volume of simulations on our in-house, Linux-based supercomputer system. The candidate will regularly perform configuration and maintenance of large Slurm clusters. At times, the candidate will compile and link software with both the Intel and GNU compilers, providing the highest calculation speed/best performance. Additional daily responsibilities include debugging hardware problems, configuration and maintenance of RAID arrays, network storage, Samba servers, Mellanox Infiniband fabrics, and setup and provisioning of new servers with Ansible. Corvid’s daily modeling and simulation relies on the successful administration of Linux. To champion these responsibilities, the candidate must have excellent shell (bash) scripting and automation skills with a deep understanding of Python.
