UberCloud Recognized with three HPC Industry Awards

Today the UberCloud announced that it has been recognized in three leading HPC industry awards for two of its innovative engineering projects in the cloud.

We are proud and humbled for the two prestigious Hyperion Innovation Excellence Awards and the HPCwire Editors’ Choice Award,” said Wolfgang Gentzsch, President of UberCloud, “Our innovative projects on UberCloud’s Cloud Simulation Platform showcase engineers, how they can benefit from the cloud to accelerate their simulations and innovate.”

  • 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award: UberCloud and its project partners, PBBL Law, Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, and Microsoft Azure won the 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award for helping PBBL Law with first-time HPC Cloud in winning a lawsuit against the builder of residential condominium towers. These annual awards recognize noteworthy achievements made by users and vendors using High Performance Computing (HPC) technologies.   • 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award: UberCloud and its project partners, the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences NIMHANS in Bangalore, Dassault Systemes SIMULIA, Advania Data Centers, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Intel won the 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award for their Neuromodulation Project, based on computer simulations of non-invasive transcranial electro-stimulation of the human brain in schizophrenia.
