The NYU High Performance Computing team is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Lead to build state-of-the-art computing infrastructure in-house and in the cloud, and an ecosystem with AI and machine learning solutions, to support all NYU scholars who utilize AI technologies in research projects and teaching. This position will be involved in scoping, architecting, designing, building, and supporting the computing, and analytical infrastructure to deliver AI solutions (ex. image processing, predictive analytics, expert systems) in order to enhance the HPC teams AI offerings, improve service, help build partnerships, and add capacity and capabilities. The Artificial Intelligence Technical Lead will work closely with NYU researchers and instructors as well as NYU IT teams to provide ongoing testing, benchmarking, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AI computing resources and software. This position will develop training material, conduct hands-on training sessions, in-person consultations, and provide online documentation to assist NYU scholars and their collaborators to efficiently utilize AI technologies in their research and teaching.
