Parker Hannifin will showcase their latest quick connect couplings for liquid cooling at SC19 in Denver.

Recognized as the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world, Parker couplings incorporate non-spill valving, meaning no spills during connection and disconnection. At the core is a flat-sealing design that prevents any type of fluid loss against sensitive electronics and all electrical connections. This ensures the highest level of compatibility with the broadest range of liquids and the application environment.

Energy efficiency and compact design play a critical role in thermal management applications, which we were mindful of achieving in the design and engineering of our liquid cooling connections,” stated Cameron Koller, market development manager. “With more than 60 years of producing quick couplings, we’ve mastered the process with a solution that guarantees a reliable and efficient solution to meet any data center requirements.”

There’s an estimated 2.5 quintillion bytes of data being created every day, and the pace is only accelerating with the growth of computers, mobile devices and the Internet of Things (IoT). This exponential growth of data presents extraordinary opportunities along with new challenges for data centers, as processes and technologies evolve. In particular, traditional forms of data center cooling, such as air-based, have unveiled deficiencies as power demands increase. And that’s where liquid cooling can accommodate comprehensive energy levels and achieve lower cooling costs.
