In this video, Kent Moffat, senior product manager from Intel, describes the oneAPI initiative, an ambitious shift from today’s single-architecture, single-vendor programming models to a unified, simplified programming model for application development across heterogeneous architectures, including CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs and other accelerators.

Intel’s Raja Koduri, senior vice president, chief architect, and general manager of Architecture, Graphics, and Software announced oneAPI as an industry initiative based on open specifications, and introduced the Intel® oneAPI Beta Toolkits, a core set of tools and libraries for building and deploying high-performance, data-centric applications across varied architectures.

Developers can learn more about oneAPI and test drive it in the Intel® DevCloud for oneAPI Projects.
