Today Bright Computing announced that Atipa Technologies has become the latest company to join the Bright Computing Partner Program, as an Advanced Reseller.

Operating across North America, Atipa Technologies provides HPC solutions to universities, government laboratories, aerospace and biochemistry organizations. Atipa is the high-performance computing division of Microtech Computers. Microtech Computers is the founding company that researches, builds and configures Atipa HPC clusters, servers and workstations. Microtech Computers was established in 1986, and for 30+ years has been perfecting the customization of high-end servers and workstations.

Bart Willems, Technology Director of HPC at Atipa, commented; “Through our partnership with Bright Computing, we will incorporate Bright’s industry-leading cluster management technology into our HPC solutions so that our customers who are less familiar with the Linux command line or who do not have the financial resources to hire an experienced Linux sysadmin can dive in and start using the cluster on day one.”

Atipa has chosen to partner with Bright Computing as Bright Cluster Manager is easy to understand and intuitive to use, reducing cluster use training time and allowing Atipa customers to get up to speed and execute jobs as quickly as possible.

Atipa envisages that Bright Cluster Manager will add significant value to its HPC portfolio through the comfort of a full GUI experience for their turnkey HPC solutions.

We welcome Atipa Technologies to the Bright Reseller Program,” said Jack Hanna, Director Alliances at Bright Computing. “Atipa and Bright already share a number of North American universities and laboratories as customers, so we are excited to formalize our collaboration with Atipa, to provide exciting and powerful HPC solutions that fuel the advancement of research across North America.”
