Gartner Recognizes Gupshup.io as Major CPaaS Vendor

San Francisco/Mumbai, 18 April 2023: Conversational engagement company Gupshup has announced it has been recognized as a Major CPaaS Vendor in the 2023 Gartner Competitive Landscape: Communications Platform as a Service. According to the report, the CPaaS market is evolving beyond APIs to encompass the entire customer journey. Increasingly, customers expect vendors to come to them with pre-packaged features and example implementations for their specific vertical use cases.

The Gartner report mentions eight global CPaaS vendors, including Gupshup which is positioned as a Major CPaaS Vendor in the ‘Customer Experience as a Service’ (CXaaS) category.

The report notes that the CPaaS market is set to grow from roughly $11.8 billion in 2022 to $30.6 billion in 2026. It also noted that ”CAI is a critical piece of the CXaaS equation, allowing for customers to express themselves in natural language and to scale communications effectively.”
