At ISC 2024, we were given a tour of the Eviden booth, which – being the focal point at the conference of Europe’s leading HPC-AI systems vendor – was a beehive of activity.
The tour began with a business and customer update from Emmanuel Le Roux, Eviden Group SVP and Head of Advanced Computing & AI, who discussed new contract wins in Brazil, Denmark (Novo Nordisk) and Germany (extension of Eviden’s exascale contact with the Julich Supercomputing Centre in Germany), along with an update on existing customers, such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
He also discussed Eviden’s progress within the TOP500 list of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and the Green500 list of energy efficient HPC systems, in which the Eviden JEDI development system (part of the upcoming Jupiter exascale supercomputer) at Julich achieved the no. 1 position.
We also received updates from other senior company managers on Eviden’s line of HPC-AI servers, from edge AI inference to data center HPC-class servers for model training, along with Eviden quantum computing technology and the cloud-based Jarvice as-a-service product line.
