HPC-AI industry analyst firm Hyperion Research has announced two upcoming HPC User Forums:
The 86th HPC User Forum, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 21-22 at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) in Barcelona, Spain. Agenda and free registration are here.
The event will spotlight the use of AI and GPUs in HPC, BSC as a testbed and a developer of new technologies, RISC-V for HPC applications and quantum computing futures. A roster of speakers will present talks on topics such as RISC-V and new ISAs, HPC workflows at BSC, AI in life Science, MN5 presentation, design choices, challenges and Future Plans, and more. There will also be an optional MN5 Supercomputer visit.
The 87th HPC User Forum, Thursday and FridayOctober 24-25 at the High Performance Computing Center (HLRS) in Stuttgart, Germany. Agenda and free registration are here.
Event highlights will include HPC and AI in Germany and Europe, industrial HPC/AI users, new initiatives and more. There will be a roster of speakers, with talks on German HPC/AI strategy, updates from BCS, ECMWF, FZJ and LRZ, as well from various HPC Sites (e.g., NCAR, CERN, ANL, DiRAC) and an industrial panel on using HPC and AI (e.g., TRUMPF, Porsche, NCSA, Seedbox). There will also be an optional CAVE demo.
The HPC User Forum, established in 1999, is designed to help users connect with the HPC community with a mission is to promote the health of the global HPC industry and address issues of common concern to users.
