At the recent DCD NYC event, we had the opportunity to speak with Steve Jennings, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ZincFive, about the role of nickel-zinc (NiZn) batteries in supporting green data centers in then North America and EMEA markets. As data centers increasingly adopt sustainable solutions, such as renewable energy, NiZn batteries are proving to be a reliable and environmentally sound option.

They are non-flammable and the absence of thermal runaway at the cell level makes them safer for protecting valuable infrastructure such as a data center.
