E4 Computer Engineering’s Portfolio of HPC, AI and Quantum at ISC 2025

Scandiano, May 28, 2025: E4 Computer Engineering will be among the protagonists at ISC High Performance, Europe’s benchmark event for supercomputing, held at the Congress Center in Hamburg from June 10 to 13.

With a program of presentations at its booth (Hall H – Booth F40), the Italian company intends to promote discussion on the challenges and opportunities presented by these technologies, to foster contacts with the best professionals in the field.

E4 will present the latest innovations for HPC solutions including:

– Monitoring and data collection solutions for exascale supercomputers to build the cluster datalake-house and enable value-added services for governance

– Solutions for specifically monitoring the use and performance of storage components, a critical and central element for all HPC and AI workloads

– Solutions for Quantum Computing, a technology that is powerfully entering the supercomputing scenario, for which E4 has built solutions and expertise in recent
years.

At the same time, E4 experts will be featured in three update talks on the most relevant topics of the Hamburg event. These are, in particular:

• HPC Next: Reflections and Progress on the RISC-V Ecosystem, by Daniele Gregori (Chief Scientific OQicer, E4 Computer Engineering) Wednesday, June 11, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Hall G1 – 2nd floor Congress Center

• International Workshop on RISC-V for HPC at ISC, by Daniele Gregori (Chief Scientific OQicer, E4 Computer Engineering) Friday, June 13, 2:00-6:00 p.m., Hall X5 – 1st floor Congress Center

• SmartHPC.QC: Evaluating the Impact of Malleability for HPC-QC integration, by Gabriella Bettonte (Quantum Developer, E4 Computer Engineering), Friday, June 13, 2:00-6:00 p.m., Hall X8 – 1st floor Congress Center

In addition, at the E4 Computer Engineering booth, there will be a talk by Addison Snell, CEO of Intersect360 Research, entitled “The importance of integrated monitoring systems for HPC/AI cluster”, scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2:30-3:00 p.m. that will enrich the content that the Emilia-based company intends to communicate.

In continuation of a tradition of supporting young students, E4 Computer Engineering is again this year sponsoring two of the 25 teams that will compete in the 14th Student Cluster Competition, the Not only FLOPs (from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and Team RACKlette (from ETH Zürich). Students will be equipped with the latest NVIDIA systems provided by E4, to design and build clusters capable of tackling high-performance computing challenges.

E4 Computer Engineering’s participation in ISC is an ideal opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and innovations with leaders in the HPC and AI and Quantum fields, on the eve of a new technological season in which new challenges for supercomputing are appearing. To meet the E4 team and learn more about these topics, E4 invites all interested parties to the Meeting Room Hall 10.A (1st floor of the Congress Center), with the possibility of booking a meeting through this link.
