New ImmersionFAQ site to Dispel Misconceptions about Datacenter Immersive Cooling

Today GRC and Asperitas launched ImmersionFAQ.com, a new website with FAQs and facts about immersion cooling. “The newly developed vendor agnostic website is a key tool for operators looking to educate themselves on immersion and get answers to technical questions about liquid cooling.”

Asperitas and 2CRSI Announce Immersed Computing Partnership

Dutch cleantech company Asperitas and French IT specialists 2CRSI have announced a partnership on Immersed Computing during the GITEX international technology week in Dubai. “With the combination of 2CRSI and Asperitas’ Immersed Computing, we will be able to deliver sustainable integrated high performance solutions for our customers at a whole new level.”

Asperitas and Boston Collaborate on Immersed Cooling for Datacenters

Today Dutch cleantech company Asperitas announced it is partnering with Boston Ltd on Immersed Computing technologies. “Our partnership with Asperitas ushers in an exciting new chapter for our business and for our customers delivering radically improved datacenter cooling solutions coupled with intelligent energy recovery and reduced operational costs.”

Asperitas and Qarnot Collaborate in Liquid Cooling

Today Dutch cleantech company Asperitas and French green HPC service provider Qarnot announced a partnership centered around liquid cooling for datacenters. Qarnot will act as a value added reseller and operator of the Immersed Computing solution AIC24 developed by Asperitas. The AIC24 is a stand-alone plug and play solution to facilitate IT in a very energy efficient and reliable way making use of total liquid cooling. Qarnot and Asperitas are planning to deploy a showcase at the HQ of Qarnot in Paris.

Asperitas Unveils Liquid-cooled Modular Datacenter Solution

According to Asperitas, Immersed Computing is a concept driven by sustainability, efficiency and flexibility and goes far beyond just technology. In many situations, Immersed Computing can save more than 50% of the total energy footprint. By using immersion, 10-45% of IT energy is reduced due to the lack of fans, while other energy consumers like cooling installations can achieve up to 95% energy reduction. It allows for warm water cooling which provides even more energy savings on cooling installations. One more benefit, Immersed Computing enables high temperature heat reuse.

Asperitas Startup Brings Immersive Cooling to Datacenters

Today Dutch startup Asperitas rolled out Immersed Computing cooling technology for datacenters. “The company’s first market ready solution, the AIC24, ‘the first water-cooled oil-immersion system which relies on natural convection for circulation of the dielectric liquid.’ This results in a fully self-contained and Plug and Play modular system. The AIC24 needs far less infrastructure than any other liquid installation, saving energy and costs on all levels of datacentre operations. The AIC24 is the most sustainable solution available for IT environments today. Ensuring the highest possible efficiency in availability, energy reduction and reuse, while increasing capacity. Greatly improving density, while saving energy at the same time.”
