Leibniz Supercomputing Centre Takes Delivery of Atos Quantum Learning Machine

Paris and Munich — March 18, 2021 — Atos today said it has delivered an Atos Quantum Learning Machine (Atos QLM), a commercial quantum simulator, to the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Germany. The Atos QLM is installed in the recently opened LRZ Quantum Integration Centre (QIC), […]

Atos delivers Quantum Learning Machine to Japan

Today Atos announced that it has sold its Atos Quantum Learning Machine (QLM), the world’s highest-performing commercially available quantum simulator, through its APAC distributor Intelligent Wave Inc. (IWI), in Japan. This is the first QLM that Atos has sold in Japan. “The Atos Quantum Learning Machine enables businesses to develop and experiment with quantum processes and delivers superior simulation capabilities to speed innovation.”

Atos Launches Quantum Learning Machine User Group

Today Atos launched the global User Group of the Atos Quantum Learning Machine (QLM). Chaired by a representative from French multi-national energy company Total, the User Group ecosystem is supported by the Atos’ Quantum Scientific Council, which includes universally recognized quantum physicists. It is also further enhanced by partners such as leading software company Zapata and start-up Xofia. “Now, with the creation of this Group of Atos QLM Users, we are ensuring that we continue to support them to develop new advances in deep learning, algorithmics and artificial intelligence with the support of the breakthrough computing acceleration capacities that quantum simulation provides.”

Atos Democratizes Quantum Programming with myQLM

Today Atos announced myQLM, free quantum programming tools designed to democratize access to quantum simulation and encourage innovation in quantum computing. “With myQLM, we are taking a new step forward in the field of quantum computing. Offering free access to quantum programming and testing to researchers, students and developers will democratize the use of quantum simulation and help expand the overall reach of quantum computing, a technology which will shape the future of computing for years to come” said Thierry Breton, Atos Chairman & CEO.

Atos Announces New Quantum Simulator with 41 Qubits

Today Atos announced the latest version of its Atos Quantum Learning Machine, the “first commercially available and ready-to-use quantum system,” capable of simulating up to 41 quantum bits (Qubits). “It also incorporates world-firsts in terms of simulating ‘quantum noise’ in order to make the simulation even more realistic. These advances – combined with our work to develop a quantum accelerator within five years – place Atos and its customers in an ideal position to take advantage of future digital revolutions.”

Atos Quantum Learning Machine Comes to SURFsara in the Netherlands

Dutch researchers have a new opportunity to experiment with Quantum Computing with the new Atos Quantum Learning Machine at SURFsara. The Atos Quantum Learning Machine is a complete on-premise quantum simulation environment designed for quantum software developers to generate quantum algorithms. It is dedicated to the development of quantum software, training and experimentation. The Atos Quantum Learning Machine allows researchers, engineers and students to develop and experiment with quantum software.
