TCS and Intel to Establish Center for Advanced Computing for HPC in India

Today Tata Consultancy Services announced plans for a new Center for Advanced Computing to develop advanced solutions in the areas of HPC, High Performance Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The new Center at TCS’ Super Computing facility in Pune, India will be enabled by integrating the latest Intel Xeon Scalable processors with Intel Omni-Path Fabric, Intel Optane technology, BigDL and additional Intel technologies in the future. 

C-DAC Deploys 25 Param Shavak Desktop Supercomputers Across India

India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has developed an affordable supercomputer for universities conducting high-end research. Already deployed at 25 institutions, the Param Shavak is a GPU-accelerated desktop machine that sports over 2 Teraflops of performance.
