Power8 Systems with NVLink Come to Nimbix HPC Cloud

Today’s emerging workloads like machine and deep learning, artificial intelligence, accelerated databases, and high performance data analytics require incredible speed through accelerated computing,” said Sumit Gupta, Vice President, High Performance Computing and Data Analytics, IBM. “Delivering the capabilities of the new IBM POWER8 with NVIDIA NVLink-based system through the Nimbix cloud expands the horizons of HPC and brings a highly differentiated accelerated computing platform to a whole new set of users.”

Nimbix Cloud Adds Docker Integration to JARVICE

“PushToCompute is the easiest and most advanced DevOps pipeline for high performance applications available today”, said Nimbix CTO Leo Reiter. “It seamlessly enables serverless computing of even the most complex workflows, greatly simplifying application deployment at scale, and eliminating the need for any platform orchestration or user interface work. Developers simply focus on their specific functionality, rather than on building cloud capabilities into their applications.”

Nimbix Speeds Cloud-based Machine Learning

Today HPC cloud provider Nimbix announced a significant increase in their presence in the machine learning market space as more customers are using their JARVICE platform to help address the need for an easier, more cost efficient way of working with machine learning. “The Nimbix Cloud was a great choice for our research tasks in conversational AI. They are one of the first cloud services to provide NVIDIA Tesla K80 GPUs that were essential for computing neural networks that are implemented as part of Luka’s AI,” said Phil Dudchuck, Co-Founder at Luka.ai.

Video: Cloud for the “Missing Middle”

Leo Reiter from Nimbix presented this deck at the HPC User Forum. “Nimbix is a pure high performance computing cloud built for volume, speed and simplicity. We give people the tools and the processing power to solve their biggest, toughest problems. We give you the freedom to imagine new possibilities, to test the limits of reality, and to model the future. For most workloads, Nimbix is far less expensive than building, running and maintaining your own supercomputer. It’s also more efficient at spinning up, executing, completing the job and delivering your results — which saves you time and money. And our user-friendly platform means you invest less in development and infrastructure.”

Video: The Internet of Machines

In this video, Steve Hebert from Nimbix presents: The Internet of Machines. “The good folks at Nimbix have also posted full a set video presentations from their recent Developer Summit. The event brought together the best and brightest minds building the next generation of cloud computing applications. The invigorating discussions span topics from rendering and simulation to big data and machine learning, and everything in between.”

Nimbix & Bitfusion Deliver Affordable High Performance GPU Resources in the Cloud

Today Nimbix and Bitfusion rolled out a new combined solution to offer more choices to application developers looking for high performance GPU accelerators on an on-demand basis. The Nimbix Cloud, powered by JARVICE, now integrates Bitfusion Boost to offer lower cost accelerator resources for developing compute hungry machine learning, analytics, and photorealistic rendering algorithms. “Nimbix has been about empowering developers to create accelerated applications in the cloud since day 1,” said Nimbix CTO Leo Reiter. “With this new combined solution, developers have more choices than ever before when it comes to performance and economics for the next generation of cloud computing workflows.”

Registration Opens for Inaugural Nimbix Developer Summit in Dallas

Registration is now open for the inaugural Nimbix Developer Summit. With an impressive lineup of speakers & sponsors from Mellanox, migenius, Xilinx, and more, the event takes place March 15 in Dallas, Texas. “The summit agenda will feature topics such as hardware acceleration, coprocessing, photorealistic rendering, bioinformatics, and high performance analytics. The sessions will conclude with a panel of developers discussing how to overcome challenges of creating and optimizing cloud-based applications.”

Nimbix HPC Cloud Moves to 100 MW Dallas Datacenter
