In this video, student participants in Research Experience for High School Students (REHS) program discuss their experiences using HPC resources at the San Diego Supercomputer Center at UC San Diego (SDSC).
For the sixth year, SDSC launches an exciting volunteer internship program for high school students entitled Research Experience for High School Students. As part of this program, students will be paired with an SDSC mentor and will work as part of a research team dedicated to a particular area of computational research. SDSC is a global hub for rapid computing, data analysis and storage. It’s also a gateway for teens to conduct cutting edge research – from data tracking earthquake fault lines to working on cures for cancer and Parkinson’s disease – through the Research Experience High School program.
