“The successful candidate will lead efforts to develop efficient parallel algorithms, architect software and develop workflows toward the effective use of high performance computing systems in support of renewable energy research and related applications, including: energy systems integration, computational science, computational engineering, analysis, optimization, and resource analysis. The successful candidate will also collaborate with NREL scientific staff on the effective use of high-performance parallel computers (HPC) using new systems with a petaflop of peak capability using standard and accelerated computing.”
