DOJ Drops Antitrust Investigation of NVIDIA

The US Department of Justice formally notified NVIDIA that it has closed its case and associated investigation involving NVIDIA’s possible violation of antitrust laws in their GPU technology.  NVIDIA announced on December 1, 2006 that it had received a subpoena from the DOJ’s San Francisco office of the Antitrust Division on the possible violations.
